First Step is CNBLUE’s first studio album, released on March 21 2011. The album comes with 12 songs, consisting of three new songs, eight Korean versions of their Japanese songs, and one Japanese song as a bonus track. The title track for this album was Intuition and the music video was released on the same day as the album. CNBLUE also released a music video of Love Girl on April 21 2011.

CNBLUE began promoting the album on March 24 2011 by performing on Mnet’s M Countdown. They won the ‘triple crown’ on M Countdown and KBS Music’s Bank. They ended promotion on May 22 with their special release, First Step +1 Thank You.

The album ranked at Number 1 on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart. The album also ranked Number 2 on the Gaon Monthly Album Chart, and they managed to chart at Number 8 on the Gaon Yearly 2011 Album Chart.

2gether is CNBLUE’s second Korean album, released on September 14 2014. The album comes with eleven tracks, with Cinderella as the title track. The genres on this album are electronic pop, and pop-rock. There are three versions of the physical version of this album: A version, that was released on September 14 2015; B version, that was released on September 21 2015; and a special version that was released on September 30 2015.

CNBLUE began promoting the album by performing on various music shows and radio shows as well. The song Cinderella won five trophies on different music shows. The album topped the Gaon Album Chart at Number 1. The album also ranked Number 3 on the Billboard World Album Chart.

392 is CNBLUE’s second Japanese album, released on September 1 2011. The album comes with eleven tracks recorded in English and Japanese.

The album has three singles: The Way, I Don’t Know Why and Re-Maintenance. The Way was ranked Number 26 on Oricon’s Weekly Chart with about 9,000 copies sold. I Don’t Know Why ranked Number 15 with 14,000+ copies sold to date. The last single, Re-Maintenance ranked Number 14 with 3,897 copies sold in the first week, climbing to Number 12 in the second week.

The album 392 was ranked Number 7 on the Oricon Year Indie Album Chart in Japan.

Code Name Blue is CNBLUE’s third Japanese album, released on August 29 2012. The album consists of 13 songs, seven of them new. Members Jung Yong-hwa and Lee Jong-hyun participated in writing the lyrics on this album. The album was ranked Number 2 on the Billboard Japan Top Albums Chart.

There are three English language singles on this album just like the previous one. The first single is In My Head, composed by Jung Yong-hwa. The song was chosen to be the ending theme song for an animated TV series called Supernatural: The Animation. In My Head ranked at Number 4 on Oricon’s Weekly Chart on the date the song was released. The song has sold about 85,000 copies.

The second single, Where You Are, was composed by Jung Yong-hwa and topped Oricon’s Weekly Chart at Number 1.

The third single, Come On, was ranked Number 5 on Oricon’s Weekly Chart in Japan.
