The Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) noted that BTS’ RM is the youngest artist in South Korea with the most song copyrights. Not only that but KOMCA also named BTS’ RM as the artist with the second most song copyrights in South Korea. Quoting from the KOMCA page from July 16, 2021, BTS’ RM has 176 works that include his name. He achieved this at the young age of 26 years.

Meanwhile, RM is only 21 works from the owner of the most song credits, namely VIXX’s Ravi with 197 songs. RM is in competition with P Nation’s agency educator PSY. They both have 176 credits. Next in line is BIGBANG’s G-Dragon with 174 song credits. This achievement suddenly made ARMY, the name for BTS’ fans, congratulate RM. One of their ways of celebrating was by creating the hashtag #RM176KOMCA.

BTS’ RM became the third artist with the most song credits recorded at KOMCA. RM finally added to the number of songs that included his name through the single “Butter” which was just released on May 21, 2021.
