We are Bulletproof: Eternal is also on the tracklist, making longtime fans nostalgic. How did it happen? We are Bulletproof: Eternal was a reference from their pre-debut song, which was titled by We Are Bulletproof in 2010, and was followed by a sequel song titled We Are Bulletproof part 2, in 2013.
We are Bulletproof: Eternal tells the story of BTS, who have grown up in the past seven years and matured as people and as a group. BTS’ First Comeback in 2020, ON!
Previously, BTS amazed their fans with their first comeback in 2020, with the hit single ON! In the song, BTS also revealed the truth and meaning behind the song, as well. It was representative for a feeling, with the condition that it’s okay if someone doesn’t feel okay, and it is alright if we fail or have flaws.
The single was released as the same day as the Map of The Soul: 7 album, on February 21, 2020. There’s also another version of the single, which is a collaboration the female singer Sia. If you look at the translation of the lyrics, they consisted of messages that the group has had their own struggles in their career. Despite all of the hard times, they kept moving forward and kept going ‘on and on’!
Some of the highlight from the lyrics, such as the part which was “You should know, can’t hold me down cuz you know I’m a fighter”, “Bring the pain“, and other lyrics that have been translated into English, such as “Even if I fall, I come right up, scream“, and many more!
ON‘s music video:
Through the music video for ON, BTS presented their fans with a wonderful setting, where it shows the scene of the BTS members going to the mountains. It also has a ‘nature’ vibe, and reminding people of movies such as The Maze Runner, Alice In Wonderland, and many more! Even through their outfits, which also matched with the concept, and showed the scene where RM was surrounded with animals in the forest, as well!
ON‘s cinematic video:
Meanwhile, through the kinetic manifesto film of the ON video, BTS made fans fly with their skillful performance while the members were dancing and singing along with the army of dancers behind them! Obviously, the group members were the spotlight of the scene, and they were surrounded by a bunch of dancers! With the monochrome outfits and ‘clean’ background, the video was really eye-catching!
ON’s live performance:
How did ARMYs react to ON? Obviously, they were really excited! They had given several reactions, but mostly ARMYs were very proud of BTS through each of their comebacks, as well!
