Recently J-Hope and the other members of BTS set a new record by scooping all main awards (Daesang) at the 2019 Melon Music Awards (MMA).

The world’s biggest boy band BTS also swept all the Daesangs (grand prizes) at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). BTS was awarded all four Daesangs this year: Album of the Year for Map of the Soul: Persona, Worldwide Icon of the Year, Song of the Year for “Boy With Luv,” and Artist of the Year. This is the first time in history that an artist has received all the Daesangs at MAMA.

On December 6th, 2019, BTS opened the show at iHeartRadio’s KIIS Jingle Ball. The group performed three songs, “MIC Drop,” “Boy With Luv,” and “Make It Right.” For the performance of “Boy With Luv,” Halsey joined BTS on stage as she is featured on the track.

On December 7th, 2019, BTS was also awarded the Group of the Year Award at the Variety Hit Makers 2019.

The group met Billie Eilish at the private brunch at the award show. Fans speculate on any potential collaboration in the future.
