The Latest News of Big Bang’s T.O.P
One of the most famous boy bands in South Korea, BIGBANG finally decided to vacuum for about two years from the K-Pop music industry. One of the causes is the punishment that must be carried out by one of its personnel, Choi Seung-hyun or known as T.O.P.
T.O.P’s existence in BIGBANG is indeed very vital. The vocal characteristic of “boss” makes this rapper the heart of the boy band that debuted in 2006. Not only does he carry a unique voice, but T.O.P is also a talented actor. Also, he received a number of awards. One of them was the Hallyu Popularity Award at the 47th Grand Film Awards Bell for his performance in the 71: Into the Fire film in 2010. The film has been watched over 1 million times in a week.
Other achievements include where he was asked to become the first Korean artist whose song Turn It Up was released worldwide through iTunes in 2010. Then, he won the New Comer Award at the Blue Dragon Awards in 2010 and was touted as one of the sexiest artists in 2013.
Unfortunately, a series of achievements were carved into oblivion when he was found to have stumbled upon a drug case. T.O.P began to receive reports on using illegal goods in June 2017, after his case was tried.
The incident began towards the end of 2016. At that time, T.O.P was known to use marijuana at his residence with a woman named Han Seo Hee. Through Han Seo Hee’s statement, it was discovered that both of them smoked marijuana.
Then, based on an examination of his hair, T.O.P proved positive for using marijuana. This idol admitted that he indeed sucked dry and liquid marijuana around October 2016. Proven to abuse the use of prohibited goods, T.O.P (who at that time was about to take part in the draft program), was immediately expelled from his division by the police.
The authorities stated that the hit singer of Doom Dada had violated the rules and was found guilty in a case of marijuana type drug use. Then, the official court sentenced him to two years probation and fined around 10 million for the man who had a career as a model. With provisions, he made a mistake within two years, then a 10-month jail sentence would await him.
Furthermore, it was stated that he will be assigned to the Yongsan government office, Seoul, as a public service officer from mid-January 2018 to June 2019. This is substituted with the military service he is supposed to live. However, the public service decision was responded by a citizen who considered the sentence too light for a person who abused drugs.
Drug cases that hit T.O.P made him forced to leave military service to face charges. As a result, T.O.P had to undergo a trial first. After a suicide attempt, T.O.P received psychiatric treatment. The agency that takes care of Big Bang, YG Entertainment, hopes that idols who also become actors can recover as before.
Related to the case, T.O.P apologized through the letter he wrote himself. T.O.P claimed he would not repeat his mistake. Currently, he is still ashamed to appear in public. As a result of being removed from his assignment, T.O.P also re-registered the military service once the trial period ended. But the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department is trying to get T.O.P to return to work in his draft department.
Apparently, the appeal of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department for the return of the T.O.P position was successful. T.O.P to return to undergo military service in the same department. T.O.P was seen starting again running the army in his unit, though with a mask on his face. Some fans had reported seeing T.O.P walking down. He still doesn’t want to greet the media or fans waiting for him.

A Viral Statement of T.O.P Ex-Girlfriend
Instagram broadcast Han Seo-hee, a trainee who was arrested for drug cases with T.O.P Big Bang, was quite a scene. Moreover, the woman who was revealed as a former idol-actor lover issued a statement containing a ridicule. In her Instagram live broadcast, Seo Hee announced her debut in a girlband. Seo Hee also talked about how to get to date with T.O.P. Not enough there, she mocked the private part of the Big Bang rapper, which she claimed to be only as big as a lipstick.
“The private part is smaller than the MAC size of this lipstick,” said Seo Hee in a satirical tone as reported by Koreaboo. The statement revealed by Han Seo Hee is of course so controversial. She also admitted that T.O.P had a strange personality.
Even so, these trainees seem to be indifferent, as she admits that she really likes getting attention. Still, from Seo Hee’s confession, T.O.P was the one who approached her first through a female friend who was older than her. Because of that, the two of them started to meet and ended up dating.
Seo Hee looked angry at T.O.P for causing her to go to jail. According to her, the demands filed were not enough to make her have to stay in prison because this was the first case, but because of T. O.P and his popularity, she had to be jailed.
