Meet The Handsome and Talented Boy Band Under Fantagio Entertainment – ASTRO
ASTRO is a new boy band from Fantagio Entertainment. They are the agency that houses the girl group Hello Venus, idol-actor group 5urprise, and of course many other famous actors and actresses who are also under Fantagio Entertainment. This group consists of 6 members, namely Moon-bin, Cha eun-woo, Jin-jin, San-ha, MJ, and Rocky. Before officially debuting as singers, they first debuted with acting. ASTRO debuted in a web-drama titled To Be Continued. The web-drama began airing on August 18th, 2015, on Naver TV and collided with Kim Sae-ron and Hello Venus members, who were in the same agency as ASTRO.
Then, ASTRO debuted in the music scene on February 23rd, 2016, under Fantagio Entertainment. After the huge success of their debut, Fantagio Entertainment announced that ASTRO will soon be making a comeback in the summer. A photo teaser was released in mid-June 2016. The second mini-album, Summer Vibes, was launched on July 1st, with the song “Breathless” as the title song of the album. Their third mini-album titled Autumn Story was released on November 10th, 2016.
On February 22nd, 2017, ASTRO released a special album titled Winter Dream. The album is a complement to the previous albums Spring Up, Summer Vibe, and Autumn Story. But ASTRO did not promote the album on the music stage and the album’s songs were dedicated to their fans. Then, on May 29th, ASTRO finally made a comeback with their fourth mini-album Dream Part.01. The mini-album contains 8 songs with the lead single “Baby.” Whereas Dream Part.02, which is ASTRO’s fifth mini-album, was officially launched on November 1st, 2017.
In mid-2018, ASTRO revealed that they were preparing new songs for their upcoming comeback. After releasing a photo teaser and a music video, ASTRO finally made a comeback with the song “Always You” on July 24th. The song is the lead single from their sixth mini-album titled Rise Up. Then, on January 16th, 2019, ASTRO launched their first studio album titled All Light. With the main song “All Night,” ASTRO finally got its first trophy since its debut on the musical stage “SBS MTV The Show,” on January 29th, 2019.

ASTRO officially debuted on February 23rd, 2016, by releasing their first mini-album titled Spring Up. The mini-album contains 5 songs with the main song “Hide & Seek.” The music video for “Hide & Seek” was successfully watched more than 100,000 times in just 8 hours. They first debuted on stage at Show Champion on February 24th, or the day after the launch of the mini-album. Although they had only just debuted, ASTRO have already set its fandom name, AROHA, which means “ASTRO Heart All Fans.”

ASTRO Prepares for Their First World Tour, From Taipei to New York
The popular boy band under Fantagio Entertainment, ASTRO, has begun their world concert tour in March 2019, which is their first global tour since their debut three years ago.
As reported by Yonhap, on Monday, January 21st, ASTRO plans to start their tour with a concert in Taipei on March 16th, then in four American cities – New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, according to Fantagio Music. The group will then return to Asia to hold two concerts, one in Hong Kong and one in Bangkok, on March 30th and April 27th, 2019, respectively.
“Because this is the first world tour for ASTRO, they (the members) have made a big effort. Wait and hope this group makes a great performance,” said Fantagio Entertainment, as the agency overseeing ASTRO.
ASTRO debuted in February 2016 with the release of the mini-album Spring Up. Beginning in 2019, the group launched their first full album, the album All Light, with the main song “All Night.”
ASTRO Successfully Debuted in Japan with Their First Mini-Album VENUS
On April 3rd, 2019, ASTRO officially debuted in the country of Sakura with their mini-album Venus, which contains three of their original Japanese songs and three songs that had been released but were re-released again in a Japanese version, namely “Baby,” “Always You,” and “All Night.”
Venus succeeded ranking at No.2 on the daily album ladder of the largest music chart in Japan, Oricon, with total album sales reaching 11,952 copies.
