Surprising news involving the AOA girl group came when one of the members, ChoA, announced that she will be leaving the group.
On June 22nd, through her personal Instagram account, ChoA explained why she stopped her activities and announced that she would be leaving the group.
“Even though I’m the oldest member of the group, I often want to cry. The more I force myself, the more I get sick,” she said, who turned out to have insomnia and depression and had to reduce her schedule.
She also explained, “After consulting with my agency, I will leave my team, AOA, today, and support the surviving members.”

“Hello, I’m ChoA. I am very grateful and grateful for your support even though I had a vacuum. I’m so sorry. Maybe it’s too late, but I want to reveal my reason why I should take a break and make a decision like this in my own worries. Choa’s departure from AOA was indeed announced in June 2017. However, her contract with FNC Entertainment was still valid after she left the group. Since then, not much news has been heard from this one idol.

Ex-AOA member Choa Finally Updates Her Instagram After Disappearing for 1 Year
Choa greets fans through a personal Instagram account that is very rarely used anymore. The former AOA member made a post for the first time in a year. Choa decided on hiatus after leaving AOA in June 2017. Even so, fans still celebrated their favorite idol’s birthday on March 5th.
Choa thanked the fans for advertising her birthday at Bupyeong Station for her. “Thank you for giving me a happy birthday on my birthday. It’s late, but hopefully your new year is happy,” she wrote.
