On August 5th, 2015, Chinese reports stated that Song Seung-heon and Chinese actress Liu Yi-fei (Crystal Liu), who had previously appeared as lovers in the film Third Love, were dating. Later, Sung Seung-heon’s agency indeed confirmed their relationship. The couple was 11 years apart in age, with Song Seung-heon being 39 and Liu Yi-fei being 28 at that time. Sadly, the couple has broken up earlier this year after three years of dating.
On January 25th, 2018, a representative from Song Seung-heon’s management confirmed the news, stating that because of personal matters, they cannot give an exact answer to why the couple decided to end the relationship.
