Yong Jun-hyung and Park Shin-hye’s friendship is going strong! The two are known to be close friends, and their relationship is known to be ‘friendship goals’ in the entertainment industry, because despite their busy schedules, they always find time to catch up and spend time together.

Park Sin-hye is one of the closest female actresses in Yong Jun-hyung’s circle of friends. They have consistently updated fans on their reunions via social media. Park Shin-hye said in an article that Jun-hyung is the only male friend of hers that she remains close to because her other male friends are too busy.

Yong Jun-hyung shared a cute black-and-white snapshot taken with the actress on his Instagram account. For the caption, he simply added two smiling emojis which seem to refer to their facial expressions in the picture. They both are sitting behind a restaurant table and casually posing for the camera, looking comfortable around each other.

Park Shin-hye and Jun-hyung aren’t shy about letting fans know about their friendship. In several interviews, Yong Jun-hyung even picked Park Shin-hye as his ideal type.

They also celebrated each other’s birthdays. Yong Jun-hyung uploaded a post to his Instagram when he was at Park Shin-hye’s Birthday Bash at her parent’s restaurant. Her actual birthday is on February 18th, but she celebrated it earlier with friends. Lee Hong-ki, Kim Hee-chul, Seho and Choi Jong-hoon were also there.

They have a lot of common interests, ranging from their hobbies to real work. In an interview in the February issue of Ceci, JunHyung said that Shin-hye is his bowling and skateboard buddy. Jun-hyung is also featured in Shinhye’s new song, My Dear.

Those two are very supportive of each other.

Yong Jun-yung sent two snack trucks to the set of the SBS drama Doctors as a way of showing support for Park Shin-hye, who starred in the drama. Park Shin-hye uploaded a Boomerang video and a photo to show her heartfelt gratitude for Yong Jun Hyung’s generous gift. She writes, “I wasn’t feel well this morning so I was telling Seung Hoon how nice it would be if something good happened today, and daebak!”

In return, Park Shin-hye posted a screenshot of Highlight’s new song, It’s Still Beautiful, on her Instagram and wrote, “You’re a cool guy.” She also included Yong Junhyung’s username and promoted his new album with various tags.

Yong Jun-hyung replied by saying something in his V-live, “She actually called me just now to tell me that she listened to the song and liked it.” He cheekily added, “I hope all of you listen to the song that got Park Shin-hye’s approval.”

On June 28th, 2011, Cube Entertainment announced, “Hara and Junhyun had a senior/ junior relationship until they began dating. They’ve been dating for about a month now. When Hara was going through some difficult times, Junhyung consoled her. Because of their busy schedules, they’ve only been able to go out to eat and other dating activities three times so far.”

Dispatch

The two were caught confidently dating early on the morning of June 9th, the day Jun-hyung returned from BEAST’s Japanese concert. After drinking coffee at a take-out cafe in Kang-nam, the two drove around the area before parking near Jun-hyung’s home. For an hour, the two walked around the neighborhood and around the park before settling at the ‘Sky Park’ in Sangam-dong. Seeing the two hold hands, side by side was definitely a heartwarming sight for reporters on the scene.

The two apparently used every spare moment in their schedules, as they met up again early on the morning of June 13th, to walk around the back alleys of Hongdae.   What’s amazing is that they didn’t hide who they were at all. In the car, Hara would roll down the windows and stick her head out to observe the night view. An associate of Hara’s explained, “Innocence is Hara’s charm. She may have begun promoting early, but she’s not affected by that at al,l and still manages to preserve her innocence. Yong Junhyung probably fell in love with her pure charm.”

Hara and Jun-hyung’s agencies have now confirmed news of the couple’s break-up, after getting in contact with the idols, themselves.

Several insiders in the music industry revealed that the two had parted ways and decided to remain friends, and fans have been looking to Cube Entertainment and DSP Media to offer comments on the matter.

Having contacted the idols, reps of both agencies have received word that the two stars have indeed decided to go their separate ways.

Recently, when asked if Jun-hyung songs are about Goo Hara, he replied, “It’s not what you think. Most of my songs are written at the start of my most powerful memories. I’ll mix in dramas or other romantic stories, since it’s sometimes not enough.” When asked if he’s interested in dating lately, “I don’t have much time left. I have to enlist soon and I don’t want to leave things up in the air between then. I think I’m at a time where I need to focus more on my work.”

6. [+32, -1] Why not just ask him if he’s dating anyone new… why go back to something that’s been talked about to death… It’s been years…

7. [+23, -3] I always assumed he was just another tryhard idol more preoccupied with making himself look cool but he seems like a really good person after today’s episode

8. [+20, -1] Old news;;; I also think it’s rude to even be talking about her when she’s not there

9. [+18, -2] What’s the point in bringing up something that happened over 5 years ago?

10. [+13, -2] Why would Kim Guk Jin think that’s an appropriate question? How would he feel if he was grilled questions about his ex-wife?
