Some of you may be familiar with Ki-Bang’s face. He has often played roles in many dramas and movies. He debuted in 2005 with the drama “My Lovely Sam Soon” as Ki-Bang and the movie entitled “She’s on Duty” as Pippopneun gang member. He also has played a role in some popular dramas like “Boys Over Flowers”, “Golden Time”, “Gu Family Book”, “Medical Top Team”, “My Lovely Girl”, “Heart to Heart”, “Cheese in The Trap”, and “Uncontrollably Fond”.

That is Gong Ju-Yong (Kim Ki-bang) and his lover Heo Yoon-Seob (Lee Woo-Dong).

In “Cheese in The Trap” drama, Ki-Bang played as Gong Ju-Yong, a homosexual. He played the lover of Heo Yoon-Seob, a teaching assistant at a university attended by the lead characters. ‘Ju-Yong’ is aware of Yoo-Jung’s (lead character, played by Park Hae-Jin) complicated personality because he has known about his childhood.

Besides dramas, Kim Ki-bang also often played in many movies such as “She’s on Duty”, “Scandal Makers”, “Almost Che”, “Geochang Massacre – Bloody Winter” and many more. In scandal makers, Ki Bang played as a Radio PD. The story is about Nam Hyun-Soo (Cha Tae-Hyun), who is a popular radio DJ and entertainer. One day, a young lady named Hwang Jung-Nam (Park Bo-Young) appears and a young boy also appears on his doorstep. The young lady tells Hyun-Soo that he is her father and he is also a grandfather to her son Ki-Dong (Wang Seok-Hyeon). Hyun-Soo is not believing any of this attempts to close the door, but when Jung-Nam threatens to go to the press he allows them to stay in his apartment. Complicated things happened when they are spotted outside, and people assume that they are romantically involved.

Meanwhile, in movie “Geochang Massacre – Bloody Winter”, Ki-Bang played as Cha Dong-Suk, a documentary producer and made a documentary about the Geochang Massacre. Unfortunately, the documentary was canceled and never aired. He doesn’t know what to do next. He then meets Ji-Yoon (Ahn Mi-Na) and her grandfather (Myung Gye-Nam). Cha Dong-Suk feels the grandfather was involved in the Geochang Massacre. Ji-Yoon and her grandfather visited Geochang Massacre to find a girl in an old picture from her grandfather’s photo album. Her grandfather has suffered from Alzheimer’s since he was discharged from the military as a colonel.
