Breathless (Naneun Dalrinda) | 2003


This drama aired since October 22 until December 11, 2003 on MBC network and was directed by Park Sung-Soo and Kim Kyung-Hee. This romance drama tells the story of a man who needs to do everything to earn money for his living, and a woman who is very well aware of her charms and hates failure so much because she has never faced failure in her life since the world was always on her side. She always does everything in her way but when suddenly love comes, can she still control everything in her life? In this drama Kim Kang-woo plays the lead role, Shin Mu-Cheol.

The Slingshot (Namja yiyagi) | 2009


In this 20 episodes drama Kim Kang-woo does not play the lead role, but his role is still pretty significant. In this action thriller drama, he plays as a psychopath named Chae Do-woo. The drama itself aired from April 6 until June 9, 2009 on KBS2, and was directed by director Yun Seong-Sik and written by writer Song Ji-Na.

Lovers of Haeundae (Haeundae Yeonindeul) | 2012


This romance drama aired from 6 August until 25 September 2012 on TV network KBS2 and was directed by director Song Hyun-Wook also written by writer Hwang Eun-kyung. In this drama, Kim Kang-woo plays the lead role as Prosecutor Lee, who recently lost his memory and was somehow involved with gangsters. Here he acts along with co-star Cho Yeo-jeong who plays as Kang So-ra, the daughter of one of the gangster. The drama series was actually shoot within the Haeundae district of Busan, South Korea.

Golden Cross | 2014


Here Kim Kang-woo plays the role of Kang Do-Yoon, a man whose sister is mysteriously murdered. He loves his mom and sister so much, so when his sister is gone he is really torn and want nothing more than to find culprit and planning a big revenge on them. This family drama series started to air on 9 April 2014 and ended on 19 June 2014. The drama aired on the TV network KBS2 and was directed by director Hong Seok-Ku and Kim Jong-Yeon also written by writer Yoo Hyun-Mi.

The Missing (Teuksoosiljongjundamban M) | 2015


In the drama directed by director Lee Seung-Young and written by writer Lee Yoo-Jin, Kim Kang-woo again plays as the lead role Gil Soo-hyun, a genius who attended Harvard University at the age of only 10. After graduating, he was in the FBI for ten years until he decided to come back to South Korea and joins the Special Missing Persons Unit as the leader. The story of this drama mostly revolves around the missing cases that they face. The drama aired from 28 March until 30 May 2015 on TV network OCN.

Goodbye Mr. Black | 2016


This drama is made based on a comic written by Hwang Min-a. In this thriller drama, Kim Kang-woo takes the role as a villain named Min Sun-jae. The drama tells the story of a UDT officer of the Navy Special Operations Force who was betrayed by a friend. The drama started to air on 16 March 2016 and ended on 19 May 2016 on TV network MBC. This series was directed by director Han-Hee and written by Moon Hee-jung.

Circle: Two Worlds Connected (Sseokeul: Yieojin Doo Segye) | 2017


In 2017, Kim Kang-woo appeared again South Korean TV screen playing a fantasy drama series. In this drama, he plays the role of Kim Joon-hyuk. The story in the drama is set in the present day and the year 2037, and also involves aliens. The drama was directed by director Min Jin-Ki and written by Kim Jin-Hee, Yoo Hye-Mi, Ryoo Moon-Sang, and Park Eun-Mi. This twelve episodes drama aired its first episode on 22 May 2017 and aired their final episode on 27 June 2017 on TV network tvN.

My Husband Oh Jak-Doo (Derilnampyun Ohjakdoo) | 2018


This 24 episodes drama series first aired on 3 March 3 and ended on 19 May 19 2018 on the TV network MBC. In this drama Kim Kang-woo plays as the co-star of the lead roles Han Seung-Joo who is played by Uee. Kim Kang-woo character in this drama is a man named Oh Jak-doo, who lives in a mountain who gets married to Uee’s character Han Seung-joo.
