Let’s Rewind To 2nd Generation K-Pop Boy Group A-Jax!
A-Jax is a boy group that debuted under the auspices of DSP Media in 2012, so they can be considered a 2nd Generation group. A-Jax originally debuted simultaneously in South Korea and Japan with seven members, namely Dowoo (Hyeongkon), Yunyoung, Seungjin, Seungyeop, Sungmin, Jaehyung, and Jihu. For Japan activities, A-Jax promoted under the auspices of Universal Sigma. Throughout their career, the group has released three EPs and six singles. In 2016, the group underwent slight line-up changes as three A-Jax members (Jihu, Jaehyung, and Sungmin) left the group. After new member Junghee joined the group in the same year, A-Jax began to promote as a five-member band.
Unfortunately, it was reported that the A-Jax members’ contracts expired on March 31st, 2020, and the group was officially dissolved after working together for seven years.
