4Minute released their third mini-album titled ‘Volume Up’ on 9 April 2012. The album was originally planned to be released in February 2012 but it got delayed. Unlike their previous promotion, 4Minute only promoted one title track ‘Volume Up’ and occasionally performed the side track titled ‘Dream Catcher’ on music shows such as KBS ‘Music Bank’, MBC ‘Music Core’, SBS ‘Inkigayo’, and Mnet ‘M! Countdown’.  ‘Volume Up’ also includes other side tracks, namely ‘Get on the Floor’, ‘I’m OK’, ‘Say My Name’, ‘Femme Fatale’, and ‘Black Cat’. For the first time ever, 4Minute released their Japanese compilation album titled ‘Best of 4Minute’ on 26 September 2012. The album was released in three different editions, namely Type A limited CD + DVD which contains the live event; Type B limited CD + DVD which contains the Japanese music videos; and the regular edition of the album. ‘Best of 4Minute’ includes fourteen songs, namely the Japanese version of 4Minute’s hit tracks ‘Hot Issue’, ‘Muzik’, ‘I My Me Mine’, ‘First’, ‘Heart to Heart’, ‘Sweet Suga Honey!’, ‘December’, ‘Dreams Come True’, ‘Can’t Make Up My Mind’, and ‘Volume Up’, and other tracks such as ‘Why’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘Ready Go’, and ‘Love Tension’.  Here you may listen to ‘Why’ which has lyrics and composition that were made by Rhymer, MasterKey, and Kanata Okajima which you can find on 4Minute’s ‘Best of 4Minute’ album.

4Minute is back with the fourth mini-album titled ‘Name Is 4Minute’ which was released on 26 April 2013. The title track ‘What’s Your Name?’ was produced by the music producer Brave Brothers and became 4Minute’s most successful song as it peaked at number one on the Gaon Singles Chart, making it one of the best selling singles in 2013. ‘Name Is 4Minute’ also includes other side tracks, namely ‘What’s My Name? 4Minute released their fifth mini-album titled ‘4Minute World’ on 17 March 2014. Just like their previous title track, ‘Whatcha Doin’ Today’, which became the title track of this album, it was produced by the music producer Brave Brothers and charted number one on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart and number four on the Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 100. ‘4Minute World’ also includes other side tracks, such as ‘Wait a Minute’, ‘I’ll Teach You’, ‘Come In’, and ‘Thank You’. 4Minute released their sixth mini-album titled ‘Crazy’ on 9 February 2015. Before promoting the title track of this album ‘Crazy’, which charted at the second place on Billboard World Digital Place and at the first place on Billboard World Album Sales, 4Minute pre-released a ballad track titled ‘Cold Rain’ on 26 January 2015. ‘Crazy’ also includes other side tracks, such as ‘Cut It Out’, ‘Tickle Tickle Tickle’, ‘Stand Out’, and ‘Show Me’. 4Minute released their seventh and final mini-album titled ‘Act. 7’ on 1 February 2016. In this album, 4Minute only promoted one title track ‘Hate’  which was composed and arranged by EDM DJ Skrillex. ‘Act. 7’ also includes other side tracks, such as ‘No Love’, ‘Blind’, ‘Canvas’, and ‘Hate (instrumental version)’.
