Lee Jun-ho is a member of South Korea’s famous boy band 2PM well-known as 2PM’s Junho. Besides his activities as a singer, Junho is a very good actor and has been appearing in many dramas and movies.
Enlistment In The Military
On May 28th, 2019, JYP Entertainment confirmed that Junho’s enlistment date is May 30th, 2019, and shared the following statement:
“Hello. This is JYP Entertainment. This is an announcement regarding 2PM’s Junho. During 2PM promotions, he suffered a major injury to his right shoulder due to a severe accident while practicing acrobatics. He received surgery and was diagnosed with a spinal fracture. He consistently underwent rehabilitation treatment and exercised, but the development was not positive, so he took prescribed painkillers when inevitably having to carry out work that is strenuous on his shoulder. For these reasons, he received Grade 4 in the Military Manpower Administration’s physical examination. Lee Jun-ho will diligently fulfill his military duty as a public service worker from now on.”
Junho began his military duty on the [May] 30th. However, he will be serving as a public service worker instead due to an injury.
The 2PM member suffered a severe shoulder injury in the past due to acrobatics and underwent a large surgery on his right shoulder. As a result, he was judged as unfit for active duty and will be serving as a public service worker according to the reports.

Confession is a Korean Drama or TV series that aired on channel tvN starting from March 23rd to May 12th, 2019, starring Lee Jun-ho or 2PM’s Junho, Yoo Jae-myung, and Shin Hyun-bin.
This drama tells about a case involving the hidden truth behind the law bill prohibiting double jeopardy.
When Choi Do-hyun was a boy, he had heart disease. He spent most of his childhood in a hospital. He miraculously had a chance for a heart transplant. Right after the successful heart transplant surgery, his father was accused of murder. His father received the death penalty. To investigate his father’s case, Choi Do-hyun now works as a lawyer.
Junho revealed that he decided to appear in the drama for its fast-paced storyline that whisks you away. He explained, “I was able to read the script for the first three parts of the drama, and I was immediately captivated by the thrilling and tense storyline. Reading the script, I knew it was going to be a challenge, but it also made me feel a sense of anticipation of, ‘How would it feel if I could pull this off perfectly?’” He continued to explain, “Because of the subject matter, people might think the atmosphere on set will be tense, but it isn’t. It’s actually very peaceful.”
In the drama, Junho will play the role of Choi Do Hyun, who becomes a lawyer in order to save his father on death row. Though he may appear soft on the outside, he has a core sturdy as a rock, and his character will be a charismatic individual with keen insight.
In order to perfectly portray his character, Junho is putting his all into the preparation process. He explained, “One of my acquaintances used to be a lawyer, and I have a friend who is in the legal field. So I got a lot of advice from them on legal terminology. I also tried to watch a lot of dramas and films that take place in a court to become more familiar with the environment.”
Junho added, “I’ve been building up an image of Choi Do Hyun that takes into consideration his background, occupation, and situation. I am doing my best to bring him to life.”
The one and only 2PM member from Thailand, Nichkhun, has a handsome face, nice voice, good personality, and is the visual of the group, has the nickname “Thailand Prince” of Korea. Nichkhun is a Thai-American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor, and model who is currently based in South Korea.
Appearance In Arthdal Chronicles
2PM’s Nichkhun’s captivating appearance in the tvN weekend drama Arthdal Chronicles has made viewers curious about the upcoming role his character will have in the show.
In the stills released by JYP Entertainment, Nichkhun has completely transformed into a Neanderthal. Wearing special effects make-up, Nichkhun gives off a mysterious look with his pale face and blue lips that are distinct characteristics of the Neanderthal species. The pictures show his first appearance in the show, where Nichkhun smeared mushed red flowers onto his lips to hide their original blue color. Unlike his normally gentle image, Nichkhun looks drastically different with the strong make-up and long hair.
In particular, Nickhun’s character Rottip has a sage-like image unlike the other Neanderthals, and he has even met Asahon (Chu Ja Hyun) and Eun Seom (Song Joong Ki) in the past. Viewers are curious to see what will happen with his arrival and whether he will reunite with Eun Seom and recognize him after he enters Arthdal.
On May 11th and 12th, 2019, 2PM’s Nichkhun held his first-ever Korean solo concert “HOME” at Ewha University’s Samsung Hall in Seoul. Hundred of fans coming to his concert and cheering him a lot. The members of 2PM also showed their love and support for Nichkhun at his very first solo concert in Korea.
Taecyeon, who is scheduled to be discharged from the military later this week, attended the first night of the concert together with Junho, while Chansung attended the second night.
After the first night of the show, 2PM’s official Instagram account shared a sweet photo of Taecyeon and Junho meeting up with Nichkhun backstage, along with the caption, “Today, the day that everyone has been waiting and waiting for.”
“2PM’s No. 3 and No. 5 biggest fans, who came to cheer on Nichkhun at his first domestic solo concert (in the waiting room, they both reportedly went wild talking about how cool Nichkhun’s concert was and how handsome he looked).”
2PM’s youngest member Changsung also shared a similar photo with Nichkhun on 2PM’s Instagram with captions: “Feat. 2PM’s No. 6 biggest fan, the youngest, who passionately cheered on [Nichkhun] from the audience with a beaming grin on his face.”
Hints About 2PM’s Comeback
Nichkhun made a signal that 2PM will come back soon. He issued his statement when interviewed at Song Eun-yi and Kim Sook’s Unni’s Radio on March 4th, 2019.
This statement gave new hope to Hottest (2PM’s fandom) about seeing their favorite idols on the stage again soon. Nichkhun said, “We (2PM) will be releasing the album soon. We promise!”
However, this comeback will be realized in 2021 when all members of 2PM will have completed their military service.
